Seven app trends last year – how are they working for you now?

With over 200,000 apps specifically made for the iPad,  helpful apps can be hard to find. Below are a list of apps suggested by Academy students last year for use this year.

Math Formulas- Reference Guide: A nifty app with over 100 formulas from algebra to calculus to trigonometry.

Merriam-Webster Dictionary: This free app always comes in handy when you need to look up a definition. It comes with a voice search option to let you find a word incase you do not know how spell it.

myHomework: Like an online planner, myHomework helps you keep track of your assignments by class and the due date. myHomework also notifies you when something is due.

Dropbox: When you install it on your computer, you “drop” your files into Dropbox and can access your files on your iPad,iPhone, or the Dropbox website.

PDF Notes: Allows you to download a subject powerpoint and add annotations with lighting speed.

Flashcards Deluxe: An electronic update to basic flashcards. You can even intergrate Quizlet.com cards to use.

MagicalPad: Excellent for mind mapping, taking notes, and outlining.
