The AHN Parent Education Committee hosts Katie Koestner as the first speaker of the 2013-2014 speaker series. On Wednesday, September 11th Koestner will speak with the high school about social media and its consequences. Her program, presented by Campus Outreach Services, Building Your Digital Dossier covers a plethora of topics revolving around the responsible use of the Internet. Koestner’s goal for the program is to teach students about making smart decisions when it comes to what they post online.

Koestner is a world renowned expert on student safety and technology issues. She has been featured on the cover of TIME magazine, The Oprah Winfrey Show, NBC Nightly News, Good Morning America, Later Today and other national television programs. Koestner’s goal is to shed light on the consequences of an online persona and initiate conversation between students and their families.
