Emmie Drell, Senior Staff Writer (Fall Semester)
Emmie Drell is an Academy senior, Senior Staff Writer, and a first-year staffer. Emmie joined Achona as a senior because she had to move her classes around. She wanted to do Achona in junior year, but she couldn’t fit it in. She figured it was now or never to join. Emmie is a member of the Academy swim team and her favorite swim event is the 200 freestyle relay. One of Emmie’s favorite restaurants is Koto’s Steakhouse and Sushi Bar. She often gets the steak hibachi there. When she’s not swimming or doing homework, Emmie enjoys listening to music and searching for concerts. One of her favorite artists right now is TV Girl. She likes finding new artists and new types of music. Emmie loves cats and has two of her own. She prefers to adopt pets rather than buy from breeders.
