AHN named a National Beta School of Distinction

Principal Camille Jowanna presented the honor to Beta members Alison Foley, Carmelle Kuizon, and Caroline Kimbler.

April 9, 2014, Academy was honored in learning their new status as a National Beta School of Distinction. The award speaks highly to the school’s commitment to academic rigor as well as preparing students for college and career readiness.

The National Beta Club is the nation’s largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. Its motto is, “Let us lead by serving others.”

The AHN chapter of Beta is moderated by Guidance counselors Darcy Dwyer and Kerry Keegan.
