Reactions to AHN’s 2016 Talent Show
On February 28, 2016 Academy of The Holy Names held a school wide talent show where AHN students were able to show off their amazing and unique skills. All proceeds from the talent show went to the Class of 2016 endowment. These are some of the reactions that went through all of our minds when watching the 2016 Talent show:
1. That feeling that you get when your best friend is on stage and is about to perform.
2. When Seniors Caroline Yount and Miranda Plummer, the hosts of the show, had the best jokes!
3. When AHN Junior Rachel Tata began singing and it touched your heart so much that it made you want to cry.
4. When the oh so quiet Melissa Alvarado blew your mind with her killer vocals!
5. When freshman Anna Ames started singing opera from The Phantom of the Opera.
6. When Senior Alejandra Lozano finished her monologue that received Superior and Critic’s Choice at Districts (she is set to perform at States in late March).
7. When Senior Gabby Accardi, Remi Storch, Mary DesRosiers, and Maria Zeno reminded you of the Muses.
8. When the starting bid of the AHN T Shirt quilt started at $500.
9. When Junior Tess Jakubiec made you want to be a more graceful dancer.
10. When Juniors, Maddie Obregon and Alex Smith, made you want to be more like Drake.
11. When all AHN seniors ran up and started singing their hearts out with Avery Dierks.
12. When Senior Ruby Knopick twisted her body and streched her body into beautiful dance positions.
13. Waiting to see who got first place in the talent show.
14. When you realize AHN students are so talented!
15. Walking out of the talent show feeling inspired!
