Jacqueline Brooker is an Academy senior and a first-year journalist for the Achona. Brooker is excited to be part of the school newspaper this year. She also looks forward to all of the senior events, such as Silver Coffee and Graduation, that she’ll be able to be a part of this year. Brooker enjoys writing and she hopes to keep her Academy sisters updated on what’s going on in and out of school through her articles. She has a passion for spending time on her boat, taking photos, bathing with Lush bath bombs, and shopping at Nordstrom. In school, Brooker is the president of Key Club and has fun in her Math Analysis class. After school, she loves spending time either going out to eat or exercising with her little brother.  Brooker hopes to go to FSU or Ole Miss where she can study either nursing or exercise science or physical therapy. She doesn’t know exactly what she wants to do in her future, but she does know she be happy in any job that would allow her to help others. Brooker would like to wish all her Academy sisters a wonderful year.
