There are so many opportunities during the summer to have an adventure or try something new.

With summer break being just over two months long, there are endless opportunities for adventure!  Several girls at Academy are using the summer as a chance to explore new horizons and travel to different countries. Although these girls will be in different places all over the globe, they will all make incredible memories, gain perspective, and learn things that only traveling abroad can offer.

1.  Abby Morris: Amazon Rainforest

Junior, Abby Morris, is traveling to the Amazon Rainforest to study the pink dolphins. She is interested in pursuing a career in animal rehabilitation, so this will be a great opportunity to see if this is a good field for her.

Morris has been to the Amazon twice before, but this will be the first time she is going without her family.

2. Claire Obeck: Bahamas

Claire Obeck, a sophomore, is taking a family trip to the Bahamas. The Obecks love to be outdoors, fishing, snorkeling, and boating.
