In 2015, the headliner at NBT was Twenty One Pilots.

Hold in your screams of delights folks, the 97X Next Big Thing lineup has been announced and it is everything you’ve ever wanted!

Next Big Thing (NBT) is a one day annual music festival put together by 97X (a local radio station). The bands in attendance primarily fall under the “alternative rock” genre which allows for a lot of diversity, and attracts thousands of music enthusiasts every year.

The concert used to be held at Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg. However, in 2015 they decided to change the location to the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds, a significantly larger venue, in order to increase the maximum capacity.

As of right now, plenty of tickets are still available from Live Nation and the prices range from $35-$90.

TIP: If you are interested in purchasing pit tickets, make sure to buy them early so there is enough time for you to receive your wristband in the mail.
