In anticipation of this yearly treat, caffeine and holiday lovers alike are buzzing with excitement. Junior Lena Graham explains her fondness for these holiday treats through tradition with her mom. “Every year, on the first day when the Starbucks holiday drink line is released, my mom and I go together to order our favorites, and our shared favorite is the Chestnut Praline. This drink is perfect for the both of us because neither of us like our drinks super sweet, and this is just the right amount of flavoring with a holiday twist,” stated Graham.

Alayna Pearson, another Starbucks regular, shared her enthusiasm for the holiday lineup through reminiscence. Pearson said, “My favorite holiday Starbucks Drink is the Peppermint Mocha because it reminds me of Christmas and Christmas is my favorite holiday because it brings me back to my childhood joys — it is like a cup of nostalgia.”

Starbucks has also announced the debut of the new Iced Gingerbread Oat Milk Chai Tea Latte, a drink consisting of oatmilk, chai tea, gingerbread flavor, as well as a pumpkin spice topping. Junior Anna Jacobson expresses her excitement for this new arrival, stating, “Chai Tea Latte is already my go-to Starbucks order so I am super excited for the new holiday twist on my order to come out!”
