Even though the 2016 Presidential Election seems far away, it is closer than you think. The time between now and then will fly by. A couple candidates have already declared that they have entered in the 2016 race. Each candidate runs off of a platform for their main goals they hope to establish during their presidency.

Democrats that have entered the race:

Hillary Clinton

  • Hillary Clinton has a lot of casework and is well-recognized for her experience. Most Americans know her name. She made her announcement in a video advertisement about her campaign. You can see it here. AHN Freshman Mckenna Weathers says “I think it’s great that a woman is in the campaign. Although women have run in the past, I believe that Hillary has influenced many women in the US to be leaders”.

I would not mind so much, but Ted  Cruz often references his father, reminding me of the reasons why I do not like him”.
