Avery Rogan, Contributing Junior Staff Writer
Avery Rogan is an Academy junior, a second-year journalist, and a Contributing Junior Staff Writer for Achona Online. Avery is a member of the Speech and Debate team as well as co-President of Latin Club. As such, she is excited to mold the minds of novice Latin pupils and build a community for the sparsely represented Latin students. A need-to-know about this contributor is that she has a tree nut allergy — do not feed her cashews as they are one of the various nuts she is deathly allergic to. Aside from this tragedy, Avery enjoys cooking — not with cashews — and watching movies, as seen through her participation in the Academy's Film Studies course. Some of her favorites include Lady Bird, Silence of the Lambs, and Juno. Avery is anxiously anticipating her attendance of the Tyler, the Creator concert on March 19. Her future endeavors, hopefully, include her admission to an out of state liberal arts college, and a career (maybe).
