Students received their ashes at the end of the service in the second floor commons. Student Eucharistic Ministers put the ashes on each person’a forehead and wiped their hands after each time. ⁣

      Yesterday, the seniors had a meeting during lunch Yesterday, the seniors had a meeting during lunch in the Brady Center to discuss upcoming seniors events and whether or not traditional events have been cancelled. Although Prom and Grad Bash will not be occurring, Baccalaureate Mass, Graduation (the location is still uncertain of whether it will be at the Straz Center or the AHN soccer field), and among others will still be held.⁣

      “Each year, the Creative Writing class publishes “Each year, the Creative Writing class publishes our Excursions magazine, which features student-written short stories, poetry, and more. This year’s edition of Excursions is really special, as it actually encompasses work from last year and the first semester of this year. The reason for this is that last year’s editors were unable to finish due to COVID, so we actually decided that this year we would publish two editions — one that completes last year’s work and another that is simply this year’s work. The magazine was just published is the first of the two. Its theme is ‘Beyond the Stars,’ and it can be found on Apple Books by the name ‘Excursions Literary Magazine 2019-2020,’” said Creative Writing Editor and Achona Contributing Writer Amelia C. (‘21). ⁣
