Start collecting your change, Academy girls. The Teen Leadership Council will hold its annual bakesale on Thursday, February 16. In conjunction with Valentine’s Day, the club will sell before school and during break and lunch delectable foods including  Valentine-themed cookies, brownies, doughnuts, and other sweets.   Chicken minis and empanadas will round out the festive fare for sale.

In addition to food, TLC will also raffle off a fabulous V-Day basket filled with pink and red goodies, including a Victoria Secret PINK bag, water bottle, Kate Spade iPhone case, and a Crazy, Stupid, Love DVD, along with other surprises for the winner. Club members will sell tickets on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for 50 cents each–quite a steal for this great basket.

Proceeds for this event will benefit St. Peter Claver Catholic School and the American Cancer Society, through TLC’s Relay for Life participation in April. Make sure to bring your money on Thursday because this is a bakesale you won’t want to miss!
