Ava Radovic, Editor-in-Chief
Editor-in-Chief Ava Radovic is a senior at AHN who has been writing on Achona for three years. A very involved student, Ava is the president of P.O.W.E.R. and Hands of Hope. Additionally, she is a student ambassador, on the Speech and Debate team, and does Jesuit Cheer. Her favorite subject is history, with her favorite classes being APUSH and AP Comparative Government. Loving service, Ava is the student ambassador for Celebrate Birthdays and the creator of Celebrate Reading, demonstrating her drive to help the underprivileged and strive towards equal education. Working with Congresswoman Castor, Ava shows her love for all things politics and government. Ava is also very passionate about women’s health, and helps spread awareness through her blog and menstrual product drives. This year, Ava is excited for all of P.O.W.E.R.’s school-wide events, increasing Achona following, and spending time with friends during senior year. During her free time, she loves to read, watch her favorite show “Gilmore Girls” and explore different cultures and coffee shops. Ava also loves everything Halloween, from haunted houses to hayrides. In the future, Ava aspires to be in a big city, majoring in public policy and political science while dabbling in journalism. After college, her goal is to attend law school, become a practicing attorney, and eventually become a judge. Ava is a very passionate student and excited to see what this year has in store as ACHONA’s latest Editor-in-Chief.
