Gracie Hancock, Junior Staff Writer
Gracie Hancock is an Academy of the Holy Names senior and a first-year journalist for Achona. Gracie joined Achona because her favorite subject is English, she loves to write, and she wants to explore different areas of writing through journalism. Although Gracie is nervous about her first year on staff she is excited to be a part of the newspaper team. Gracie is also excited to be a senior and can’t wait for all the senior traditions, graduation, and to see what the next chapter holds for her. Gracie has a passion for acting, designing her own jewelry, painting, and cooking. Gracie designs and makes her own jewerly and has sold pieces of her collection through Tampa Bay Kid Market as well as in Hyde Park. Gracie also has a love for acting and is the leading female role in Jesuit’s fall play. Gracie also likes to be independent and likes to express her independence through cooking and trying to bake new foods. On the weekend Gracie loves to write short stories, paint, and treat herself to her favorite meal: Black n’ Blue sliders from BurgerFi. Gracie also loves to shop at American Apparel and has an obsession with baby doll dresses. Gracie wants to attend the University of Florida for college and wants to get a degree in Medicine. Gracie wants to be an art therapist and help patients recover through art. Gracie’s favorite band is Fallout Boy. Gracie loves all her Academy sisters and wishes them a great year.
