Millie Garstka, Sophomore Staff Writer
Millie Gartska is an Academy sophomore, a first year journalist as sophomore staffer. She is very involved within Academy, participating in Cross Country, Track, and is a part of TLC and the Math Club. Garstka loves running because of the great team bonding aspects and because it’s a great way to stay in shape. When Garstka isn’t participating in her many school activities, she might be found snacking on a bag of Tru Fru Raspberries or drinking some Kahwa Coffee. She also loves watching TV, specifically cheering on the Patriots as they play football. When she isn’t doing homework for her favorite subject, math, she might be reading the occasional book or hanging out with her friends. Although Millie is only a sophomore, she already has aspirations to study something in the medical field. She’s not sure yet where she wants to go to college, but reports that she would really love to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
