Olivia Porcaro, Senior Staff Writer
Olivia Porcaro, a senior at AHN, is a first year staff member of Achona. She loves to spend her times hanging out with friends, going to the beach, reading People magazine, and shopping at Nordstroms. Porcaro also loves working with kids and is able to use her talent at Disciplined Minds, where she is a middle school tutor. In school, she is part of the club, Golden Girls, and also plays on the lacrosse team. Her favorite subject is Calculus, because it is challenging, but she still finds the material interesting. Porcaro plans on attending college at Florida State University, where she wants to join a sorority, and study to be a real estate agent. Although she is sad to leave home, Porcaro is excited to make new friends, be more independent, and do fun activities at FSU. An interesting fact is that her friends call her “Porky” because her last name is Porcaro and her ancestors were pig farmers. Also, she admits that she loves to listen to music and dance, but she is a really bad dancer, so she has to save her dance moves for when she is not in public. Porcaro is super excited for her senior year and loves being on the Achona staff.
