Alley Pauley, Senior Staff Writer
Alley Pauley is a first-year senior staff writer for Achona. She is excited to be a part of the staff and share her stories with the Academy community. At school, her favorite subject is science, specifically AP Biology, and she wants to major in biochemistry when she goes to college. Alley has been playing the violin for 14 years, and spends many hours practicing new pieces and playing for the elderly living in nursing homes. She is in the Entrepreneurship Club, Theatre Club, and Key Club and school and is very active in them. She has hundreds of service hours that she has acquired by teaching a religion class to sixth graders at Nativity Catholic School. Outside of school, Alley enjoys reading and spending time with friends. You can often find her looking at Sephora and Netflix when she is not studying. Alley is an only child and lives with her parents and her dog that only responds to Spanish commands. While the idea of college is scary, she is ready for this new step in her life. She is looking forward to celebrating her senior year with her sisters.
