Megan Scanlan, Senior Staff Writer
Megan Scanlan is a Staff Writer and an Academy senior this year. Although this is her first year on the Achona staff, she is extremely excited to learn about the ins and outs of journalism. She is putting her love of Buzzfeed, Twitter, and Youtube to good use by using them as inspiration for unique story ideas. As an avid beach goer, Megan is always prepared to soak up the sun, she spends most of her free time at the beach or with her friends. If you’re looking for Megan during the week you can find her on the court. She has been on the Academy volleyball team for the past four years, and has nothing but love for her sport. Megan’s favorite classes are Law and History because she wants to be a lawyer. She plans of attending Florida State University and then eventually go to law school. As an Academy lifer she is more than excited to be ending her career at Academy as an Achona staff memeber to share her love and passion about the school with everyone.
