Alex Perez, Senior Staff Writer
Alex Perez is an AHN senior, first-year journalist, and curriculum chair for the Teen Leadership Council. When she is not participating in TLC, Alex can be found practicing volleyball across the bridge as she is the Libero for the Varsity team. Volleyball has played a large role in her development as she has played since she was nine. In the classroom, Alex is always writing and engaging in discussions pertaining to English and literature. Commonly used apps on her phone include Buzzfeed, Pinterest, and her guilty pleasure Webkinz. Music is important to Alex and she is routinely found jamming to Oasis, Empire of the Sun, the Maine, M83, Aer, the Weeknd and her absolute favorite song is Walking on a Dream by Empire of the Sun. Alex plans on studying Communications at the Florida State University in pursuit of a career in Broadcast Journalism.
