Gabrielle Vivero, Senior Staff Writer
Gabrielle Vivero is a Senior staff writer for the Achona online newspaper. Although this is her first year on the staff, she is already excited to share her passion for writing with the rest of the Academy community. When she isn’t in her favorite class, which is writing for the newspaper, she stays involved with Academy as the Vice President of Ambassadors, and an active member of both SADD and Respect for Life. Outside of school, she channels her passion for music into her job at Daddy Kool Records where she is a member of the street team. She hopes that this part-time job will help her smoothly transition into a future career in music business and marketing, which she intends to pursue at either Belmont University or Florida State University. When she isn’t watching Netflix or playing club and school lacrosse, reading is important to Vivero. Her favorite genres range from young adult novels to Duck Dynasty blogs. She has an obsession with Pura Vida bracelets and minions. In fact, she named her car “Stewart” after her favorite minion and has a plush doll riding shotgun at all times. Her favorite bands include Queen, One Direction and Night Riots. She also lives by the famous quote from John Lennon, “Reality leaves a lot to the imagination.”
