Jessica Galvis, Senior Staff Writer
Senior, Jessica Galvis, is one of Achona’s newest members this year. Besides sleeping and binge-watching How I Met Your Mother, Galvis spends a lot of time on Academy’s basketball court as a second year shooting guard on AHN’s varsity basketball team. She has a toy poodle named Duncan and some of her favorite shows are That 70’s Show and The Office. Galvis, who was born in Mexico, wants to attend college in Florida and pursue a career in business. Before graduating, however, she looks forward to being a senior and enjoying all of the privileges that come with it. Galvis’ self proclaimed guilty pleasure is Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Her favorite class is English; she generally enjoys writing better than her math or science class. Sports, especially basketball, is a passion Galvis shares with her whole family. Ten years from now, Galvis sees herself living in a new area, engaged and graduated from college.
