Valerie White, Senior Staff Writer
Valerie White is a Senior at Academy and this is her first year writing for Achona as a Senior Staff Writer. She is passionate about theatre and competes with Academy’s Troupe 0846. She also participates in S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and Camerata. Valerie spent her last three summers volunteering at a summer camp, which has a special place in her heart. Her favorite past times include: listening to all genres of music, especially alternative, playing with her dog and cat, and watching reality TV. Ice cream, especially Half Baked from Ben & Jerry’s, is Valerie’s absolute favorite food to consume, along with stress eating peanut M&Ms. Valerie’s favorite holiday is Christmas, but she also enjoys Thanksgiving because her and her family go to Disney as a tradition. She loves spending time with her mom as they go shopping on the weekends or see a movie. For college, Valerie feels inspired to study Communications.
