Daegan Walker, Sophomore Staff Writer
Daegan Walker is an Academy sophomore, first-year writer, and a Sophomore Staff Writer for Achona. Walker plays club soccer at Tampa Bay United, and has been taking guitar lessons at the Rockstar Music Academy since fourth grade. Walker is passionate about hockey and the Tampa Bay Lightning and hopes to pursue a career in marketing for them in the future. Walker is very passionate about music, and she appreciates that she likes a variety of music, but her favorite is grunge rock from the ‘90s. Walker’s favorite artists are 5 Seconds of Summer, whom she has met, the 1975, Nirvana, John Mayer, and Shawn Mendes. When she isn’t listening to music, Walker likes to watch “One Tree Hill”, “Scott Pilgrim Vs the World”, and “Perks of Being a Wallflower.” Although she does not read very often, her favorite book is “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green. At the moment, Walker would like to go to the University of Florida or the University of Tampa for college, but she believes these dreams will change.
