Olivia Payne, Managing Editor

Olivia Payne is an Academy junior, a second year journalist, and a Managing Editor for Achona this year. She is excited for the upcoming year on Achona, and all the perks and duties that come with being an editor.  She is also highly anticipating the Junior Ring ceremony, and has already begun shopping for her dress, as she hopes to be featured in the Achona lookbook. Outside of Achona, her favorite class is AP Language & Composition, as she is able to flex her writing skills. Beyond the classroom, she stays involved in the Academy community by dancing as a Jaguarette, participating in POWER, and serving as the Treasurer for Student Council. When she’s not studying or out on the dance floor, she enjoys reading, and her favorite novel is The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. She is also quite fond of ducks. After high school, she hopes to pursue a career in journalism and attend a college in a big city, particularly NYU.
