Raquelle Elson, Editor-in-Chief

Raquelle Elson is a senior at the Academy, a fourth-year journalist, and is taking on the duties of co-Editor-in-Chief this year. Raquelle is currently the president of the Social Justice Club, Co-Captain of the Speech & Debate, and a member of Ambassadors and P.O.W.E.R. clubs. In her free time, she enjoys watching Stranger Things and Criminal Mind and reading The Song of Achilles. She loves the movies 10 Things I Hate About You and The Mighty Ducks. In school, Raquelle’s favorite subjects are AP Lit, AP Psych, and AP Gov. In the coming year, Raquelle is excited about the events of her clubs, all of the senior year traditions, and most of all graduation. She is aspiring to study to become a criminal justice lawyer and one day work with the Innocence Project to help others.
